    Product Description

Homosalate, chemically known as 2-ethylhexyl salicylate, is an organic UVB sunscreen filter widely used in cosmetics. It is an ester of salicylic acid and 2-ethylhexanol, with the molecular formula C₁₅H₂₂O₃. Appearing as a clear, colorless to pale yellow oily liquid, it is soluble in oil-based solvents and compatible with most cosmetic ingredients.
Aogebio® Homosalate is a high-performance UVB filter widely used in sunscreen and skincare formulations to deliver effective protection against harmful UV rays (295–315 nm). As a key sunscreen active ingredient, it enhances SPF performance while maintaining a lightweight, non-greasy feel—ideal for broad-spectrum sunscreens, moisturizers, and daily UV protection products.

Our cosmetic-grade Homosalate offers excellent solubility in oils and organic solvents, ensuring seamless integration into various cosmetic formulations. It is highly compatible with other organic and inorganic UV filters, making it a versatile choice for high-SPF, water-resistant, and photostable sun care products.
